Note: First South African trawler fitted with radar. The National Trawling & Fishing Co Ltd, Cape Town had close links with J Marr & Son Ltd, Fleetwood following visits by Leslie James Marr and Geoffrey Alan Marr who spent seven months working for them at Cape Town.
