1.11.1929: Launched by Hall, Russell & Co Ltd, Aberdeen (Yd.No.700) for Soc. Anon. Pêcheries de Fécamp, Fécamp as JOSEPH DUHAMEL.
12.1929: Completed. Cost to build c£24,750. Registered at Fécamp (F708).
23.2.1940: Sailed for Newfoundland fishery, subsequently based and landing into Saint-Pierrre.
29.6.1940: Fleet confined to port in Saint-Pierre.
15.12.1940: Ordered to sail for Casablanca.
26.12.1940: On passage to Casablanca (45 crew, 7 passengers), stopped by Ocean Boarding Vessel MARON (P.No.F.87) in position 34.30N 15.22W. Armed boarding party (Lt. Geoffrey Hobday RNR) placed on board and ordered to Gibraltar.
29.12.1940: Arrived Gibraltar. Seized by The Admiralty on behalf of French Administration, London.
17.1.1941: Offer to repatriate crew to Marseilles; twenty-two crew members volunteered to join the RN (as Free French).
1.1941: Proceeded to Hull via Belfast and Fleetwood. Requisitioned and transferred to ownership of MOWT (Hellyer Bros Ltd, Hull, managers). Fitted with 1-75mm, 1-20mm and 30mm AA armament. Employed as cargo/fish carrier UK – Iceland. Free French Naval Force (FNFL) crew.
3.1941: Examined and assigned a loadline (1200dw). Employed coasting.
12.6.1941: Registered at Hull (H99).
30.6.1941: Returned to cargo/fish carrying UK-Iceland.
9.1944: Transferred to French Administration, London.
29.9.1944: Fitting out for return to fishing. Based at Fleetwood under management of Boston Deep Sea Fishing & Ice Co Ltd, Fleetwood.
11.1944: Sailed Fleetwood for Icelandic grounds (Sk. André Lecoeur).
28.11.1944: First landing at Fleetwood.
12.1944: Transferred to Hull.
6.1945: Demobilised and returned to owners, Soc. Anon. Pêcheries de Fécamp, Fécamp.

1930s: Seasonal trawling from Padstow and Fleetwood (Lowestoft Fish Selling Co Ltd, Lowestoft, managing agent).
7.9.1939: Requisitioned for war service and employed on port duties (Hire rate £70.4.11d/month).
29.11.1939: Converted for minesweeping (P.No.FY.1504).
1942: Transferred to Bloomfield’s Ltd, Fleetwood management.

21.10.1953: Landed 301.25 crans of herring at Yarmouth after transferring 16 nets to UTOPIA (BF531) which contained 62 crans.
1953: Runner up in Prunier Trophy. (Throughout her career one of Yarmouth’s most successful herring catchers).
31.12.1954: Sold to W. H. Kerr (Ship Chandlers) Ltd, Milford Haven (William H. Kerr, manager).

1958: Re-engined with 2 stroke 5-cyl 360bhp oil engine by Crossley Bros Ltd, Manchester.
10.1971: Fishing off Irish Coast (Sk. Bill Phillips) suffered main engine failure. CONSTANT STAR (M133) fouled her propeller in attempting to connect. Subsequently towed to Milford by PICTON SEA LION (M22).
7.1973: Sold to Thos. W. Ward Ltd, Sheffield for breaking up.
23.7.1973: Sailed Milford for Briton Ferry in tow of WILLING BOYS (LT737).
10.9.1973: Breaking up completed. Yarmouth registry closed.

18.12.1923: Seining off Dogger Bank (Sk. Hewitt) struck by heavy seas sustaining considerable damage. Returned Yarmouth a day overdue.
13.10.1924: Landed estimated 300 crans at Yarmouth.
12.8.1937: In dense fog at mouth of River Tyne took onboard from Montrose steamer BELFORD (366grt/1920) crew of steam drifter WELCOME BOYS (LT11) which had been in collision with BELFORD and foundered. Landed survivors at North Shields.
1942: Transferred to Bloomfield’s Ltd, Fleetwood management. Landing at Fleetwood and occasionally at Ullapool.

28.9.1941: When some 9 miles SWbyS from Morecambe Bay Light Vessel, took off crew and connected to steam drifter MURIELLE (LT269) which had suffered an explosion from mine hauled in trawl. Commenced tow to Fleetwood, but started to settle and foundered 3 miles W by N of Blackpool Tower. All crew landed at Fleetwood.
17.7.1943: Typical wartime landing. 164 kits – hake-51, cod/codling-43, whiting-29, flats-7, roker-29, gurnard-2, dogs-3.
1946: Transferred to Bloomfield’s Ltd, Gt Yarmouth.
19.11.1945: At Yarmouth landed 170 crans.
22.3.1946: In heavy weather some 36 miles off Yarmouth (Sk. Charles Johnson). In the morning sighted a small motor-cruiser in difficulties. Closed boat and found four youths in distress and took them onboard, but weather prevented taking the boat in tow. On arrival Yarmouth, boys transferred to hospital. (Boat had been stolen from Broadstairs by the boys who had been without food and water for four or five days).
4.11.1946: At Yarmouth landed 210 crans.
1950s: Seasonal white fish trawling from Fleetwood.
5.10.1952: At Yarmouth landed 160 crans.
